The new ICREON Wireless USB equipment enables you to connect USB devices, displays and projectors wirelessly to your PC. Adds WUSB docking capability to any Windows XP or Vista based PC.
(via Web Research – December 5, 2009) Galma-Dong Seogu, South Korea – New vendor ICREON has announced new PC peripherals that use ultra wideband wireless technology. The new products are a WUSB hub (HUWB-2010UHD), a WUSB docking station (HUWB-2010TMD) and a WUSB transmitter (HUWB-2010TMA) for DVD players, set-top boxes and camcorders.
Wireless Video/Audio UWB Docking Station ICREON
Docking station offers wireless USB connectivity between a host PC and a multitude of peripherals such as monitors/displays/projectors, ethernet, speakers/microphones, and any wired USB device such as printers, mouse/keyboards, external storage.
Wireless USB docking station features
- Supports all WiMedia band groups 1, 3, 4, 6 (3.1 – 10.6 GHz) for worldwide usage
- Supports every WUSB data rate from 53.3 Mbps to 480 Mbps
- Chipset Alereon AL5100 RF Transceiver, AL5300 Baseband/MAC
- DVI / VGA supporting display resolution of up to 1680×1050 (wide screen)
and 1600×1200 (regular monitor) in 32-bit true color - Low latency enables user experience comparable to wired audio / video connection
- 2.1 Audio support (3.5 mm speaker/microphone jacks)
- Two USB ports
- Isochronous support for audio, speakers and webcam devices and applications
- Throughput 40 Mbps (when connected to a HWA)
- Throughput up to 100 Mbps (when connected to a WHCI)
- 10/100 Ethernet port
- Application software that provides a graphical install wizard, radio controls and configuration menus
- Software and driver support for Microsoft XP and Vista 32/64
- Supports both wired and wireless operation
